Are the MASIMO® LNCS® Low Noise Cabled Sensors SpCO Capable?
Alfredo M.- On Monday, 15 April 2019
No, MASIMO® LNCS® Low Noise Cabled Sensors are not SpCO capable. Only Rainbow sensors will read SpCO.

Do the MASIMO LNCS Low Noise Cabled Sensors work with the Zoll X series monitor?
Teresa A.- On Friday, 31 December 2021
It depends on how your X Series is set up. They can be ordered to use either LNCS or Rainbow sensors. If your monitor measures both SpO2 (oxygen) and SpCO (carbon monoxide), then it has Rainbow technology. If it only measures SpO2, then chances are it has LNCS technology and can use MASIMO LNCS Low Noise Cabled Sensors. If it does have Rainbow, it can use either Rainbow or M-LNCS sensors. M-LNCS sensors plug into a Rainbow cable, but only measure SpO2. They’re a lot less expensive than Rainbow sensors. Most customers rarely need to measure SpCO, and so opt to go with M-LNCS sensors to save money.

Why would MASIMO LNCS Low Noise Cabled Sensors not work on a Zoll X Series? Running into this issue with a few?
Anonymous- On Wednesday, 23 March 2022
MASIMO LNCS Low Noise Cabled Sensors will only work on a Zoll X Series that has Masimo LNCS technology installed. Depending on how it's ordered, the X Series can be either LNCS or Rainbow, which is more common. If it has the capability of measuring SpCO (carbon monoxide), then it has Rainbow. If it does have Rainbow, then it can use either Rainbow or M-LNCS sensors. For more infoprmation, please call or email our Products Department. 800-824-6016 [email protected]
